Version 0.11.0a - EXPERIMENTAL!!! - 2014/11/12

Please see warnings (and commentary) before downloading.

Version 0.10.2 - through 2014/10/16 6:14pm

Directory form and zip file.

Changes

max Z is only recorded upon either rear WOW--weight on either set of rear wheels. Major Change is only to accel.nas. I have not extensively tested this.

I changed this because I'm concerned with acceleration on the suspension, not the wings. The wings can take much more force than the suspension.

It appears that I have changed other files since 10.0.0. Your "diff" is as good as mine. :)

Version 0.10.0 - updates through 2014/06/12

Directory form and zip file with all scripts.

You need almost all of the NAS files for all the features.

Changes

The major change was a major bug fix to the acceleration score in accel_score.nas. I changed the conditions for the acceleration listener to stop and display the score. The new conditions are:

Before I changed the conditions, I occassional (?) got a much better score than I should have. The previous version didn't make sure those conditions remained true for 2 seconds, so the other 3 conditions could be true for an instant and then the weight completely settles on the wheels and the acceleration goes way up. (At least, the bug scenario is something like that.)

Known Bugs

When you go from one initial position to another, at least one landing position to another, several features break including the landing score. I recommend entering the new position, letting the scenario run for ~10 seconds (until the frames become fluid), then resetting (shift-ESC). After that, each reset should work.

In my low-agl (above ground level) landing scenarios / initial positions, I usually crash the first time I run a given instance of fg because the flight controls lag behind the physics engine--I crash before I have control. This isn't my bug, it's a limitation of fg. However, if you do "appear" high enough not to crash, I suspect the accel. score won't work. As above, let the system stabilize, then reset, and you're good for every reset of that scenario after that.

These are fixable, but I'm going to have to clean up my concepts first.

Version label (or lack thereof) note

Nothing inside the scripts says 0.10.0. The latest timestamp, in accel_score.nas, is "print("accel 2014/06/11 - 1:13am");"
